Dr. Chris Nguyen didn’t just end up in dentistry by chance — he was drawn to it by a moment that changed everything. Early in his career, he completed a full-mouth restoration for a patient who had been living with failing, decayed teeth for years. When that patient saw their new smile for the first time, their entire demeanor transformed. That experience cemented what Dr. Chris already believed: dentistry doesn’t just change smiles, it changes lives.
That conviction has guided every patient interaction in his eight years of clinical practice, and it’s exactly why he fits so naturally into the Legacy Dentistry family.
Education & Training
Dr. Chris earned his dental degree from the Texas A&M College of Dentistry, one of the most respected dental programs in the country. Since graduating in 2018, he has been committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, the kind that treats people as people, not just as a set of teeth.

If there’s one thing patients notice about Dr. Chris right away, it’s how at ease he makes them feel. He is known for his gentle touch, calm chairside manner, and genuine commitment to a pain-free experience. Whether you’re coming in for a routine cleaning or a more complex procedure, Dr. Chris takes the time to listen, explain, and make sure you feel comfortable every step of the way. He believes that trust is built one appointment at a time, and he never takes that responsibility lightly.

Dr. Chris grew up right here in the Arlington/Mansfield/Grand Prairie area, so when he says he serves this community, he means it personally. These are his neighbors, his people — and that connection shows in how he cares for every patient who sits in his chair.
Beyond The Dental Chair
When he’s not at Legacy Dentistry, Dr. Chris is fully in his element as a family man. He and his wife have known each other for 16 years and have been married for three, and together they are raising a spirited one-year-old son and a beloved 9-year-old husky. His ideal day off involves bowling in the morning, quality time on the floor with his little one, and a sushi dinner with his wife to close it out.
He’s a night owl, a Jack Ryan fan, and, in his own words, a complete open book. He welcomes questions from patients on any topic, dental or otherwise, and that openness is part of what makes him so easy to talk to.
